Secured labels
Today's drug labels are predominately dumb lables containing product information and at times date, batch and lot code.
Serialized labels will contain a unique identifier.
RFID or datamtrix the label is still a dumb label.
To address the threat of counterfeit drugs it's critical the label can not easily be replicated and can have the security attributes to allow the end-user to validate the authenticity of the drug without an investment in hardware.
